I knew it! It was bound to happen! Google/SketchUp has just released a free version. I guess it won’t take long for gazillions of Google Earth 3D models to become available. I’m looking forward to it!

Yes, really intersting … I should download SketchUp, I don’t know if you can already download the models directly into google earth. But it’s supposed to be possible soon

As a matter of fact I haven’t even installed it yet. I’m doing some 3D modeling at work, but so far there is no file format converter for Google Earth files. Guess I have to look into SketchUp after all…
